I’m B.B. Thompson; a 30-something mother, wife, sister, daughter, employee and brand spanking new nurse. I was raised in a middle class family, went to private catholic school from Kindergarten to 12th grade and at my parents’ insistence (both college grads) graduated college with honors in Psychology. After 13 years in the corporate arena for one of the greatest Fortune 500 companies in the world, I decided to call it quits, put on some scrubs and start really making a difference in lives.
In 2014, I was accepted into nursing school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing! I am a new surgical nurse as well as a lactation counselor, living my dream.
This blog is a brief look into the window of my incredible journey as a corporate millennial in the throws of a total career change with a young family to keep under wraps.
